Directions for use:

You may need to adjust the amount of Cleansing Tea you consume to suit your body's individual need. Don't worry, it tastes good! It tastes like a regular herbal tea. And, you can mix it with your other favorite teas.

Two bags of Cleansing Tea produce one gallon. If you drink one 8-ounce glass or mug of Cleansing Tea twice per day (with 2 meals) it lasts for 8 days.  A package of 8 bags of Tea will last for one month (32 days). If you drink an extra 4-ounce glass of Tea with a snack then 2 bags of Tea will last about 6 days, and 8 bags (4 gallons) will last for about 24 days.

IMPORTANT:  The Tea must be steeped in water which is HOT - close to the boiling point, but NOT BOILINGDO NOT MICROWAVE!  Excessive heat will destroy the important tea enzymes.

(If using a kettle to heat the water, remove it after you first hear the bubbling noises or see steam. If the water has already come to a rapid boil, let it set for a few minutes to cool and stop the boiling.)

Preparing the Tea Beverage To Your Taste

  1. These instructions explain how to make a 1 quart of Tea concentrate which when diluted with either water or other beverage of your choice will make a total of one gallon of tea.

  2. Bring a quart of water to a boil, turn off the stove or take pot off the heat, add 2 tea bags once the water is no longer at a boil. (Never add tea bags to boiling water.)

  3. Cover the Tea mixture and let it sit overnight - or steep it for AT LEAST 4 to 6 hours - to allow the herbs to infuse the mixture. Then, without removing the Tea bags, pour the entire mixture into a container with an airtight lid (such as a tupperware pitcher or glass canning jar) and refrigerate. Leave the Tea bags in the container until you have consumed all of the Cleansing Tea mixture.

  4. Now you have the concentrate that you will use to dilute to make your full gallon of tea. Keep the quart of tea in the fridge. Each time you drink the tea use 2 ounces of concentrate and 6 ounces of water or other preferred liquid (such as juice or other herbal tea), to make your 8 oz of tea.

(If you prefer, you can brew an entire gallon of tea at once using the 2 tea bags. However this method will take up more space in your fridge.)

  5. You can drink the Cleansing Tea cold or as an iced tea or even add it to a favorite juice if desired. Drinking the Tea at body temperature is actually the most beneficial.

  6. Remember DO NOT MICROWAVE the Tea! Microwaves will destroy the natural enzymes and render some important nutrients ineffective. If you prefer to drink your Tea warm or hot, you can heat it in a saucepan or tea kettle - but do NOT heat the mixture to the boiling point.

If using a refrigerated 1 quart concentrate, just add it to 6 oz of hot water or hot tea.

Tip: When you are finished with the tea let the bags dry then remove the edible dried herbs and sprinkle them into various foods such as spaghetti sauce, soup or salads.

Important Notice: The Herbal Cleansing Tea contains some natural herbs which act as a cathartic. Women who are pregnant or nursing, persons who are elderly or very young, and persons with an existing medical condition or undergoing treatment with drugs MUST consult their personal physician before using the Tea or any herbal product. (Make a copy of the Ingredients to show to your doctor, if necessary.)

Note: Always drink the Tea with food - not on its own.  Drink about 8 ounces with meals such as breakfast and dinner, and drink about 4 ounces with a snack or a light lunch. A standard teacup holds about 6 ounces.

Some people may experience a little discomfort during the first few days as their body goes through the initial cleansing and elimination of accumulated toxins and old waste material.

You may be going to the bathroom more frequently for a few days, so plan ahead if you are not at home. Don't worry, you are not going to be running to the bathroom! You will just be getting a natural urge to go more often than before. And it should be natural and effortless, with no straining. If you work Monday to Friday, it may be best to start taking your Herbal CleansingTea on a Friday after work, so you can be at home over the weekend.

As you continue to drink the Tea every day, you will be removing more and more toxins and impacted fecal matter from your colon, and you will start to feel better and have more energy.

We suggest at least 3 months of drinking the Tea every day. Many users keep drinking it for years.

Drink More Water!

IMPORTANT:  You should drink 8 cups of clean water daily which is recommended for everyone every day. Not drinking enough water reduces your body's ability to get rid of wastes and toxins. Drinking enough water is especially important while detoxing your body. It helps your kidneys, sweat glands, lymphatic system, lungs, and digestive tract flush out toxins and waste material.

Water acts as the carrier to transport nutrients into your cells and flush waste material out of your cells.

Tea Ingredients:  The Cleansing Tea is a special blend of Persimmon leaves, Malva leaves, Holy Thistle, Marshmallow leaves, and Blessed Thistle.

It is the special enzymes that allow the gentle cleansing of the whole body.

(It is believed that the enzymes that used to provide colon health have been destroyed with the modern processing of foods. Now we can get back to enjoying better colon health with our Natural Herbal Cleansing Tea.)

Persimmon Leaf - An allergy preventive or itching preventive food containing persimmon leaves or a persimmon leaf extract, a persimmon leaf extract-containing cosmetic composition having the action of improving allergic rough skin conditions or alleviating itching, an allergy or itching preventive.

Malva Leaf (Chinese Mallow) - The seed contains mucilage, polysaccharides and flavonoids. It is demulcent, (soothes and softens irritated tissues, especially the mucus membranes) diuretic, emollient, (softens the skin) galactogogue (increases milk flow in nursing mothers), and gentle stimulation of the bowels. The seeds are used in Tibetan medicine, where they are considered to have a sweet and astringent taste plus a healing potency. They are used in the treatment of renal disorders, the retention of fluids, frequent thirst and diarrhea.

Holy Thistle - Holy Thistle supports the liver in the release of toxins. Holy thistle has been used medicinally for over 2000 years, most commonly for the treatment of liver and gallbladder disorders. Holy thistle products are popular in Europe and the United States for various types of liver disease. Holy thistle is believed to have great power in the purification and circulation of the blood. It is such a good blood purifier that drinking a cup of thistle tea twice a day will cure chronic headaches. Used for stomach and digestive problems, gas in the intestines, constipation, and liver troubles. It is very effective for dropsy, strengthens the heart, and is good for the liver, lungs, and kidneys. It is claimed that the warm tea given to mothers will produce a good supply of milk. It is also said to be good for girls entering womanhood as a good tonic.

Marshmallow Root/Leaf - Traditionally used to soothe and support the intestines. Herbs high in mucilage, such as Marshmallow, are often helpful for symptomatic relief of coughs and irritated throats. Mallow has expectorant and demulcent properties, which accounts for this herb’s historical use as a remedy for the respiratory tract, particularly in cases of irritating coughs with bronchial congestion. Marshmallow root and — to a lesser extent — marshmallow leaf both contain significant percentages of mucilage, a natural gummy substance that does not dissolve in water. Like other mucilage-containing substances, marshmallow swells up and becomes slick when it is exposed to fluids. The resulting slippery material coats the linings of the mouth, throat, and stomach to relieve irritation and control coughing associated with respiratory or stomach conditions. For example, marshmallow has been used to treat sore throats and to alleviate heartburn. Marshmallow may also have mild anti-infective and immune-boosting properties. Topically, marshmallow is used to soothe and soften irritated skin.

Blessed Thistle - Blessed Thistle has been recorded as far back as the early sixteenth century for treating smallpox, fever, anorexia, dyspepsia, indigestion, constipation, and flatulence. More recently it has shown to be useful in: Indigestion, heartburn and poor appetite. In herbal medicine today, blessed thistle is used to treat cancer as well as infections, heart and liver ailments, and fevers.
