about Holy Tea and IASO Tea.
Both Teas are formulated by Dr. Bill
Miller. Holy Tea is Dr. Miller's original
formula.
"Both IASO and Holy Tea are based on a
medicinal herb called Holy
Thistle used for 2000 years. "
Both natural tea blends
are formulated from a unique herbal blend of safe,
all-natural ingredients designed to help gently
cleanse the digestive tract and help detoxify the
body.
About
Holy Tea: Holy Tea's name comes from the
traditional name of one of the ingredients, a
widely-used wellness herb known as Holy
Thistle. (The name of the tea is not
intended to imply any religious significance.)
Holy Tea is a safe, pleasant-tasting, colon
cleansing and detoxifying herbal tea
which has been used with impressive results for
over 20 years. According to Dr. Miller,
thousands of his patients have drank
Holy Tea to help cleanse their
colon, help detoxify their body, and to control
their weight.
Holy Tea's ingredients consist of Persimmon
Leaves, Holy Thistle, Malva Leaves, Marsh Mallow
and Blessed Thistle.

IASO TEA
is 100% Organic
IASO Tea is
formulated with some of the same herbs as Holy Tea --
Persimmon Leaves, Holy Thistle, Malva
Leaves, Marsh Mallow and Blessed Thistle
--
but also includes Papaya, Ginger,
Chamomile, and Myrrh. (More about the
herbs can be found below.) |
Formulated by Dr. Bill Miller, this delicious 100% organic herbal tea helps
remove toxins and improves the function of your kidney, liver and colon -- safely and naturally. |
You would think people would
feel uncomfortable talking about their colon and
the nasty stuff inside. But they do talk about
it! And that's why "word of mouth" has been the
sole source of sales.
This is a life-changing
product that no one has to "sell", they just
have to "tell".
More and more people are undertaking a
regular colon cleansing regime. For those who
are uninitiated in the benefits of a thorough
cleanse, an understanding of how the colon works
- and its importance to the overall health of
your body can be helpful and informative.

The Colon's Purpose: The colon, which
is located within the large intestine, plays an
important role in the body’s digestive system.
The digestion of food starts in the mouth
where chewing and saliva break down the food
into tiny pieces which are then passed down the
esophagus and into the stomach.
Gastric enzymes within the stomach liquefy
the food. The liquefied food then passes
into the small intestine where various enzymes
combine with the food to extract nutrients.
The nutrients then enter the bloodstream and are
carried to all parts of the body. What remains
of the liquefied food passes into our colon.
The colon, which is about 6 feet in length,
is a complex system. Among other important
things, the colon absorbs water out of the
remaining liquefied food. Finally, what remains
is the waste which is passed to the rectum to be
eliminated from the body.
What can Make the Colon Unhealthy? As
you have already learned, the colon plays a very
important role in our bodies – the elimination
of waste. So what can go wrong? How does the
colon become ‘sick’ or unhealthy?
Over time, a portion of the waste (along with
any bacteria, toxins and parasites) may begin to
stick and accumulate along the walls of the
colon. The colon may become encrusted and begin
to slow the elimination of waste from the body.
Eventually this encrustation may cause a gradual
‘putrification’ and toxification of your body.
Many unhealthy side effects could result.
Can a Colon Cleanse Help?
The purpose
of colon cleansing is to help eliminate toxins,
bacteria, parasites and waste that may have
become encrusted along the walls of the colon so
that optimal functioning of the colon can
resume.
Why Drink
Herbal Cleansing
Teas?
A good brand of herbal cleansing teas
are generally considered a safe, natural way to cleanse
the colon and intestines.
We believe
that drinking Holy Tea or IASO
tea on a daily basis may
help cleanse your digestive tract and help regulate your bowel movements
in order to keep the toxic waste moving out
of your body.
Some people
believe that the delayed passing of toxic fecal matter
may lead to numerous health conditions caused by
auto-intoxification (i.e. absorbing toxins) and
clogging the walls of the intestines and colon.

Both Holy Tea and IASO Tea
contain: Persimmon
leaves, Malva leaves, Holy Thistle, Marshmallow
leaves, and Blessed Thistle
IASO
Tea also contains the ingredients above but
also: Papaya, Ginger, Chamomile, and
Myrrh. (See below from more information
about the individual ingredients.)
Persimmon
Leaf -
An allergy preventive or itching
preventive food containing persimmon leaves or a
persimmon leaf extract, a persimmon leaf
extract-containing cosmetic composition having
the action of improving allergic rough skin
conditions or alleviating itching, an allergy or
itching preventive.
Malva Leaf (Chinese Mallow)
- The seed
contains mucilage, polysaccharides and
flavonoids. It is demulcent, (soothes and
softens irritated tissues, especially the mucus
membranes) diuretic, emollient, (softens the
skin) galactogogue (increases milk flow in
nursing mothers), and gentle stimulation of the
bowels. The seeds are used in Tibetan medicine,
where they are considered to have a sweet and
astringent taste plus a healing potency. They
are used in the treatment of renal disorders,
the retention of fluids, frequent thirst and
diarrhea.
Holy
Thistle
-
Holy Thistle supports the
liver in the release of toxins. Holy thistle has
been used medicinally for over 2000 years, most
commonly for the treatment of liver and
gallbladder disorders. Holy thistle products are
popular in Europe and the United States for
various types of liver disease. Holy thistle is
believed to have great power in the purification
and circulation of the blood. It is such a good
blood purifier that drinking a cup of thistle
tea twice a day will cure chronic headaches.
Used for stomach and digestive problems, gas in
the intestines, constipation, and liver
troubles. It is very effective for dropsy,
strengthens the heart, and is good for the
liver, lungs, and kidneys. It is claimed that
the warm tea given to mothers will produce a
good supply of milk. It is also said to be good
for girls entering womanhood as a good tonic.
Marsh Mallow
Traditionally used to
soothe and support the intestines. Herbs high in
mucilage, such as Marshmallow, are often helpful
for symptomatic relief of coughs and irritated
throats. Mallow has expectorant and demulcent
properties, which accounts for this herb’s
historical use as a remedy for the respiratory
tract, particularly in cases of irritating
coughs with bronchial congestion. Marshmallow
root and — to a lesser extent — marshmallow leaf
both contain significant percentages of
mucilage, a natural gummy substance that does
not dissolve in water. Like other
mucilage-containing substances, marshmallow
swells up and becomes slick when it is exposed
to fluids. The resulting slippery material coats
the linings of the mouth, throat, and stomach to
relieve irritation and control coughing
associated with respiratory or stomach
conditions. For example, marshmallow has been
used to treat sore throats and to alleviate
heartburn. Marshmallow may also have mild
anti-infective and immune-boosting properties.
Topically, marshmallow is used to soothe and
soften irritated skin.

Blessed
Thistle -
Blessed Thistle has been
recorded as far back as the early sixteenth
century for treating smallpox, fever, anorexia,
dyspepsia, indigestion, constipation, and
flatulence. More recently it has shown to be
useful in: Indigestion, heartburn and poor
appetite. In herbal medicine today, blessed
thistle is used to treat cancer as well as
infections, heart and liver ailments, and
fevers.
Papaya -
Papaya is recommended to
be one such pick from the
group of Yellow and orange
fruits, which promises
abundant health benefits. It
is a melon like fruit with
yellow- orange flesh with
dozens of small black seeds
enclosed in skin that ranges
in color from green to
orange. Papaya has high
nutritional benefits. It is
rich in Anti-oxidants, the B
vitamins, folate and
pantothenic acid; and the
minerals, potassium and
magnesium; and fiber.
Together, "these nutrients
promote the health of the
cardiovascular system and
also provide protection
against colon cancer." In
addition, papaya contains
the digestive enzyme, papain,
which is used like bromelain,
a similar enzyme found in
pineapple, to treat sports
injuries, other causes of
trauma, and allergies.
Vitamin C and vitamin A,
which is made in the body
from the beta-carotene in
papaya, are both needed for
the proper function of a
healthy immune system.
Papaya may therefore be a
healthy fruit choice for
preventing such illnesses as
recurrent ear infections,
colds and flu.
Ginger -
For over two thousand
years Chinese Medicine has
recommended ginger to treat
a number of health problems
including abdominal
bloating, coughing,
vomiting, diarrhea, and
rheumatism. Ginger is also
used in the Ayurvedic and
Tibetan systems of medicine
for the treatment of
inflammatory joint diseases
such as arthritis,
rheumatism and a variety of
other conditions.
Proposed Medical
Benefits of Ginger
Although officially
recognized as a remedy for
appetite loss, indigestion
and motion sickness, ginger
root has a proven ability to
combat all forms of nausea
and vomiting. It has also
been taken to loosen phlegm,
relieve gas, and tighten the
tissues, although its
effectiveness for these
purposes hasn't been proven.
Comparisons between ginger
and prescription or
non-prescription drugs for
motion sickness relief have
been conducted, but results
were inconclusive. However,
in some of these studies,
similar effectiveness was
seen between ginger and
drugs.
Ginger may
also ease sore throats,
headaches, ulcerative
colitis, some types of
menstrual and arthritis
pain, and fevers and aches
caused by colds and flu.
Chamomile -
Chamomile has been used to treat a wide
range of conditions and diseases when used
internally or externally. This bittersweet
herb acts medicinally as a tonic, anodyne,
antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory,
antibacterial, anti-allergenic, and
sedative. Chamomile tea can be used to treat
digestive disturbances, gastrointestinal
spasms, inflammatory disease of the
gastrointestinal tract, and to treat coughs
and colds, fevers and bronchitis. Chamomile
contains bitter constituents that stimulate
appetite and digestive secretions that help
reduce flatulence. Chamomile's mildly
sedating and muscle-relaxing effects can
help those who suffer from insomnia to fall
asleep more easily. Chamomile is best known
as a muscle relaxant and antispasmodic.
Chamomile helps to relieve nausea,
heartburn, and stress-related flatulence. It
may also be useful in the treatment of
diverticular disorders and inflammatory
bowel conditions such as Crohn's disease.
Myrrh -
Myrrh is a hardy shrub that grows in
desert regions, particularly in northeastern
Africa and the Middle East and in regions
around Arabia. The resin obtained from the
stems is used in medicinal preparations.
Today Myrrh is used in some mouth washes and
sore throat medicines. Although it has had a
number of reported medicinal uses throughout
recorded history, myrrh is now found most
often in mouthwashes to soothe mouth and
throat irritations. In addition to relieving
inflammation, using myrrh as a mouthwash
also is thought to improve bad breath. As a
mouth rinse, myrrh is approved for treating
mouth inflammation by the German Commission
E, the German governmental agency that
evaluates the safety and effectiveness of
herbal products. Undiluted myrrh tincture
can also be applied directly to sores inside
the mouth. Occasionally, diluted myrrh
tincture is used as a wash for hemorrhoids
or as a douche to relieve vaginal
irritation.
